Danielle Jacobs is the chief executive of Beltug, the Belgian association of Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and digital technology leaders, which represents over 3,000 members from more than 540 organisations. At the European level, she is a member of the leadership team for the cooperation of various CIO and digital associations from France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium. In this role, she represents the interests of business technology users at both international and European levels. Jacobs is also a Fellow at the Free University of Brussels and was elected as a leading person of the year in the Belgian technology sector in 2018. Her work addresses the core priorities of technology decision-makers, including vendor management, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and data privacy, digital sovereignty, and effective data strategy for organisations.
