Gary Davis

Gary Davis joined Apple in February 2013 where, as part of the global team, he helped lead the company’s worldwide approach to privacy, across all products and services. He was also responsible for all aspects of Apple’s response to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Since July 2024, he has taken on responsibility in the Europe, Middle East and India region for leading regulatory legal matters. In this capacity, Davis is overseeing Apple’s implementation of various digital regulations in Europe. Previously, he served as Ireland’s Deputy Data Protection Commissioner for seven years and worked as a civil servant in the Irish Prime Minister’s office for ten years.
