Thibault Schrepel

Thibault Schrepel is an Associate Professor of Law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Faculty Affiliate at Stanford University. He founded the Computational Antitrust project, which brings together over 75 agencies worldwide. Recently, he was awarded a significant grant from the European Commission to fund a five-year research project on creating a legal regime for computational antitrust, called ATLANTIS. His academic experience includes work at Harvard University and various international organisations, such as the World Bank. In 2018, he received a global award for his outstanding contribution to competition policy. He has published several books and numerous articles on topics such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, and innovation law. His research focuses on how legal systems can adapt to fast-moving technology.
